Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts that are relevant to the aims and scope of Frontiers in Biotechnology and Genetics (FBG). All submissions undergo an initial editorial assessment, and suitable manuscripts are sent for double-blind peer review before acceptance or rejection decisions.

Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. All authors must approve the submission and take responsibility for their contributions. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission for any copyrighted materials, including figures, tables, documents, or datasets. Where applicable, research must comply with ethical requirements and approval procedures.

The journal may reject manuscripts that do not meet quality, ethical, formatting, or scope requirements. Authors should ensure that the manuscript contains a clear title, informative abstract, appropriate structure, and accurate references before submission.

Before submission, authors should confirm compliance with the journal guidelines and complete all required submission information.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The submission is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration by another journal.
  • All authors have approved the submitted manuscript and agree with its submission.
  • The manuscript includes accurate references, citations, and required supporting information.
  • Figures, tables, and other materials are properly prepared, numbered, and labeled.
  • Required permissions have been obtained for any copyrighted materials.
  • Ethical approval, conflict of interest, funding information, and data availability statements are provided where applicable.
  • The manuscript has been reviewed for accuracy, completeness, and academic quality before submission.
