Data Sharing Policy

Frontiers in Applied Physics and Mathematics (FAPM) supports transparency, reproducibility, and responsible sharing of research data. The journal encourages authors to make research data, materials, and supporting information available whenever possible to promote verification, reuse, and further scientific development.

Data Availability Statement

Authors are encouraged to include a Data Availability Statement in their manuscripts describing:

  • Whether the research data are publicly available.

  • Where the data can be accessed.

  • Repository links or identifiers for shared datasets.

  • Any limitations or restrictions on data access.

Research Data Sharing

Authors should share supporting datasets, codes, models, and other research materials when appropriate. Data should be deposited in recognized repositories that provide reliable access and long-term preservation.

Examples of suitable repositories include:

  • Institutional repositories

  • Subject-specific research repositories

  • Public data repositories

Ethical and Legal Considerations

Data sharing must comply with ethical, legal, and privacy requirements.

  • Authors must not share confidential, sensitive, or personally identifiable information without appropriate permission.

  • Research involving human participants, animals, or restricted datasets must follow applicable ethical standards.

  • If data cannot be shared due to legal, ethical, or security restrictions, authors should clearly explain the reason in the Data Availability Statement.

Data Citation and Acknowledgment

Authors should properly cite all datasets used or generated during the research process. Shared datasets should include appropriate attribution, repository information, and persistent identifiers where available.

Publisher and Author Responsibility

Authors are responsible for ensuring that shared data are accurate, properly documented, and accessible. FAPM supports responsible data practices that improve research transparency, integrity, and reproducibility.

Compliance Statement

Frontiers in Applied Physics and Mathematics (FAPM) encourages responsible data sharing and follows international standards for research transparency, open science, and ethical scholarly communication.
